N Zone Sports Welcomes Isaiah Kim to the Durham, North Carolina Market

N Zone Sports is excited to announce that Isaiah Kim has joined the organization and will be bringing the N Zone Sports brand to the Durham, North Carolina area.
Isaiah worked as a Senior Research Laboratory Manager and brings an impressive background in operations, project management, and organizational growth to the N Zone Sports family. Prior to his current role, Isaiah worked as a Laboratory Manager at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and was also an early employee at a hyper-growth biotech startup where he played a major role in helping scale the company from approximately 30 employees to more than 100 employees.
During his time with the startup, Isaiah wore many hats and gained hands-on experience in operations, accounting, human resources, supply chain management, and team leadership — experiences that helped prepare him for business ownership and ultimately inspired his desire to build something of his own.
Recently married and eager to create a business with long-term impact, Isaiah sees N Zone Sports as the perfect fit for both his professional skillset and personal passions.
“I am a lifelong sports fan and have a strong passion for mentoring and coaching children, so I align very strongly with N Zone’s model and mission,” said Kim. “I’ve also really appreciated the clarity and consistency of communication from Dana and the N Zone team throughout the process. That’s something I’ve always valued in any organization.”
Isaiah believes his background in fast-paced operational environments has uniquely prepared him to succeed as a franchise owner.
“Over the past four years, I was heavily involved in the day-to-day operations of a rapidly growing biotech startup,” Kim explained. “Because of that experience, I’m confident that I have the knowledge, skills, and drive to run a successful business, and N Zone feels like a natural fit for my interests and long-term goals.”
Like many entrepreneurs, Isaiah was drawn to the opportunity to take greater control of his future while making a meaningful impact in his community.
“My goals are to build something of my own, continue scaling and growing a business, and create a positive impact locally,” he said. “I enjoy opportunities to make a difference for others, and N Zone Sports seems like a great way to accomplish that.”
