Programs can serve children beginning around age two and three, school-age children and teenagers, as well as adults through adult sports leagues.

No. The business is designed to operate through schools, childcare centers, parks, recreation facilities, gyms, and other community locations. Avoiding a traditional storefront can significantly reduce overhead.
N Zone Sports is SBA eligible, and candidates may also explore retirement-fund financing, conventional loans, or other third-party financing options. Financing is subject to lender approval. Generally credit scores of 670+ are required. We are also seeing many new owners leverage the equity in their house so Home Equity Lines of Credit and 401K options as well as other programs. Generally, where there’s a will (and a credit score of 670+), there’s a way!
Yes. N Zone Sports offers a discounted franchise fee for qualified veterans.
Yes. Although we prefer full time operators, we do allow new owners to begin part-time while maintaining their current careers. Approximately 15-20 hours per week is generally recommended during the early stages, although the time required will depend on the programs offered and the owner’s growth goals. Some of our largest operators started this business part-time and transitioned when the time was right.
Yes. Because there is no required storefront, many administrative and business-development responsibilities can be handled from a home office.
No. A passion for helping children and building relationships is more important than being an accomplished athlete or coach. N Zone Sports provides systems, training, curricula, and ongoing support.
Previous business experience is helpful but not required. For over 90% of our owners, this is their first business. Successful owners are typically coachable, community-minded, persistent, organized, and willing to follow the system.
No. N Zone Sports is an owner-operated business that requires active leadership, business development, relationship-building, and accountability. Owners may hire staff as they grow, but success requires consistent involvement.
Not necessarily. Owners may coach initially, but they can also recruit and manage part-time coaches, referees, program directors, and administrative help as the business grows.
No. Owners can focus on the profit centers that best match their market and goals. Some owners emphasize preschool or afterschool programs, while others concentrate on leagues or use a combination.
Programs can be held at preschools, childcare centers, elementary schools, parks, recreation centers, gyms, churches, and other community facilities.
Owners receive training, resources, and guidance for contacting childcare centers, schools, parks departments, recreation facilities, and community organizations. Owners are still responsible for developing relationships and securing local partnerships but we are holding their hands and helping them each step of the way.
Training covers business development, program operations, marketing, staffing, customer service, technology, school partnerships, leagues, and the various N Zone Sports profit centers.
Owners receive ongoing access to the corporate support team, coaching calls, program-specific workshops, training resources, operational systems, peer collaboration, and an online learning-management platform.
Yes. Owners receive age-appropriate curricula, program plans, operational guidance, and resources for approved sports and programs.
N Zone Sports provides access to technology and systems that support training, registration, communication, program administration, and other operational needs. Current technology and associated fees are disclosed during the discovery process and in the FDD.
Franchise owners receive a defined protected territory, generally established using ZIP codes, cities, counties, population, and market considerations. We research each area to ensure that it would support our franchise model before awarding a franchise. The exact territory is documented in the Franchise Agreement.
Yes, qualified owners may have opportunities to expand into additional territories based on performance, availability, financial qualifications, and corporate approval.
The process generally includes introductory conversations, an overview of the business model, territory review, validation with franchise owners, review of the FDD, meetings with the corporate team, and a mutual decision about whether the partnership is a good fit.
Yes. Qualified candidates are encouraged to speak with existing owners and listen to recorded validation conversations to better understand the business and ownership experience.
